"I stumbled upon this recipe when I was looking for something impressive enough to serve for some special guests. It’s a real hit and it stapled with me and my family until now."
INGREDIENTS
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14.5 ounce) can wax beans, drained
1 (14.5 ounce) can cut green beans, drained
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon minced fresh basil
3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
Mix beans, green pepper and onion into a large bowl.
Prepare dressing, combining vinegar, oil, sugar, basil, mustard and salt. Add to bean mixture, tossing until coated. keep it chilled for a few hours or overnight prior to serving.
Makes 10 servings
