    Long Grain and Wild Rice Herb Salad with Toasted Pecans

    A delicious and healthy salad variation that is so easy to prepare.

    INGREDIENTS

    1 (6 ounce) box UNCLE BEN’S® Long Grain & Wild Rice Original Recipe
    1 teaspoon thyme
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped and toasted
    1 teaspoon marjoram
    1/4 cup parsley
    3 green onions, chopped
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 stalks celery, finely diced
    1/4 cup olive oil

    DIRECTIONS

    • Prepare rice as instructed in the label. Chill.
    • Place chopped pecans in the oven and toast at 325 degrees F for about 15 minutes.
    • Combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add rice and combine well.
    • Transfer mixture in a serving dish and serve with toppings of toasted peanuts.
