A sensational salad indeed that combines meat, eggs, shrimp and salad dressing. If preferred, use a can of tuna instead of crab meat for variety.
INGREDIENTS
1 loaf sliced white sandwich bread
butter
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
4 hard cooked eggs, chopped fine
1 can tuna, drained
1 can tiny shrimp. drained
1 can crab meat, drained
1 c. celery, finely cubed
2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
DIRECTIONS
Remove the crust off the bread slices. Apply butter lightly over each bread and cut further into smaller cubes.
Mix onion, eggs and bread cubes. Place it in the refrigerator overnight.
On the next day, add the seafood, celery and salad dressing or mayonnaise. Combine thoroughly. Put a cover and refrigerate for about 4 hours prior to serving.
