An irresistible salad recipe made of breast chicken pieces, croutons, grated Parmesan cheese and tomato slice toppings.
INGREDIENTS
* 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 2 cups Newman’s Own® Caesar, Creamy Caesar or Lighten Up® Caesar Salad Dressing
* 2 heads romaine lettuce
* 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* 2 cups Mrs. Cubbison’s® Restaurant Style Caesar Salad Croutons
* 2 large ripe beefsteak tomatoes, cored and cut into six slices each
DIRECTIONS
Wash and dry chicken well. Marinate in a cup of Caesar dressing for a few hours or overnight. Throw the liquids and set the meat aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the chicken breasts onto a baking dish and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Cut chicken into lengthwise strips.
Toss romaine with the dressing. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, add croutons and toss well.
Prepare the salad over lettuce, setting the tomatoes to circle the bottom. Top with chicken slices and serve.
