"You’ll love the delicious addition of flavor from dried tarragon and lemon-pepper."
INGREDIENTS
4 cups fresh or frozen cut green beans
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons margarine
3/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning
pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place beans, water and salt into a large saucepan. Cook until boiling. Adjust heat to allow simmering for about 15 minutes.
In a small saucepan, cook onion, celery and green pepper, sauteing them in margarine. Mix in the tarragon, lemon-pepper and pepper.
Check on the beans and drain when done. Toss in the vegetable mixture and serve.
Makes 6 servings
